Art History Subject Consultant
Academic-related Grade 2/3:
Salary Scale: £23,182 – £30,002/£31,274 – £36,959 p.a. (under review)

This post will involve reader services, academic liaison, and collection management (collection development, budget and stock management) of the research and teaching collections in Art History. You should have a degree in Art History, a professional qualification in librarianship/information science, at least two years’ post-qualification experience managing collections in a university or other HEI library in an appropriate field, and substantial knowledge of all periods of the Western tradition including contemporary art.
At AR2 you will be able to demonstrate that you have made substantial progress towards achieving the levels of competence required, and that you have the capability of achieving the standard required. Applications are therefore also welcomed at the AR2 grade from those who would like to be considered on this basis.
