2014 H. W. Wilson Foundation Research Awards

The 2014 H.W. Wilson Foundation Research Awards were presented to Bronwyn Dorhofer and Jaye Fishel at the 42nd Annual Conference held in Washington, D.C., May 1-5, 2014. The H.W. Wilson Foundation Research Award supports research activities by ARLIS/NA individual members in the fields of librarianship, visual resources curatorship, and the arts. The award encourages the professional development of the membership in their capacities as information intermediaries and as subject specialists in the arts.

Bronwyn Dorhofer received $1,500 for travel associated with research for her project to create an authoritative website on the American photographer Nancy Ford Cones (1869-1962), entitled “A Twilight Mood: The Pictorialist Photography of Nancy Ford Cones (1899-1932)."

Jaye Fishel received $1,500 for travel expenses for her research project to create an online catalogue raisonne for
the Nexus Press, a publisher of artists' books and editions from 1989-2003 in Atlanta, Georgia.
