Professional Bio
Rebecca Barham is the art, dance and theatre reference librarian and member of the Library Research Support Services department at the University of North Texas Libraries. She served as President of the Art Libraries Society of North America (ARLIS/NA) Texas-Mexico Chapter. in 2021.
She has appeared in Teaching About Fake News: Lesson Plans for Different Disciplines and Audiences (Association of College and Research Libraries), Reference and User Services Quarterly, Portal: Libraries and the Academy, and Successful Campus Outreach: Programs and Activities for Academic Libraries (Rowman and Littlefield Publishers, Inc.).
Her research interests include: Biophilic Design, Visual Thinking, Design Thinking and Space Planning. In addition to an M.L.I.S degree, she has a M.F.A. in Painting and Drawing, a B.F.A. in Art History and is a practicing artist.
