RISS & Teaching SIG Discussion Forum

The Research & Information Services Section (RISS) and Teaching SIG are pleased to invite you to join us for a co-sponsored discussion forum: “Teaching the Tools: Resources In and Outside of the Classroom” to be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 2-3 p.m. ET.

This discussion forum will include a brief presentation by the RISS moderators, followed by a discussion of discipline specific research tools. In this context, “teach” is a general term that may mean different things depending on the type of institution represented, so even if you do not regularly teach in the traditional sense, there is still room for you in this discussion. We hope to generate a list of discipline specific tools and how to share/teach them to others through our discussion.
