NDSR Art Task Force Update 2019
The ARLIS/NA Executive Board announces the publication of the NDSR Art Task Force Update 2019. The update summarizes the first year of the NDSR Art program and offers recommendations for continuing education in digital preservation and stewardship for ARLIS/NA members.
ARLIS/NA and DLF Revive Affiliation and GLAM Cross-Pollinator Fellowship
The ARLIS/NA executive board approved revival of our informal affiliation with the Digital Library Foundation. The immediate benefit will stem from the society’s taking part in the DLF’s GLAM Cross-Pollinator Registration Awards program.
2018 George Wittenborn Memorial Book Award Recipient
The exhibition catalog, Howardena Pindell: What Remains to Be Seen, has been recognized by the Art Libraries Society of North America (ARLIS/NA) for excellence in art publishing. Authors Naomi Beckwith and Valerie Cassel Oliver accepted the 40th Annual Wittenborn Book Award at a ceremony during the society’s annual conference held this year in Salt Lake City. .
2019 Member Research Awards Announced
The Art Libraries Society of North America (ARLIS/NA) is pleased to announce the 2018 recipients of the ARLIS/NA Member Research Awards (the Worldwide Books Award for Publications and the H. W. Wilson Foundation Research Award).
