Airports, Train and Bus Services
Attendees can fly into either of Chicago’s two airports or travel by train or bus.
- O’Hare International Airport is 17 miles from the Hyatt Regency Chicago and is accessible via public transportation, taxi or rideshare.
- Midway Airport is 12 miles from the Hyatt Regency Chicago and is accessible via public transportation, taxi or rideshare.
- Amtrak Union Station is 2 miles from the Hyatt Regency Chicago and is accessible via taxi, rideshare, and water taxi.
- Greyhound is 2.5 miles from the Hyatt Regency Chicago and is easiest to take a rideshare or taxi to and from the hotel.
Ground Transportation to and from Airports
O-Hare International Airport
- Public Transit: Chicago Transit Authority (CTA)
- Use the Blue Line “L” Train from O'Hare International Airport to State/Lake Station, walk north on North State Street, turn right on East Upper Wacker Drive. The hotel is on your right. https://www.transitchicago.com
- For wheelchair and stroller accessible routes, use the Blue Line “L” Train from O'Hare International Airport to State/Lake Station, wait for Route 146 (Berwyn/Broadway - East, or Marine Drive/Wilson - North) to Michigan & South Water - North stop. Walk north on North Michigan Avenue, turn right on East Upper Wacker Drive. The hotel is on your right.

- Hyatt Regency Chicago does not offer a shuttle from O'Hare International Airport. However, Go Airport Express is an easy, affordable shuttle option to the hotel.
Chicago Midway International Airport

Parking
Take advantage of convenient valet parking with unlimited in and out privileges or park at the nearby Illinois Center garage lot yourself.
- Hotel Valet Parking: $79 /Overnight
- Self Parking: $53 /Night. The nearest garage is located at 111 East Wacker. The garage entrance is on the north side of E. South Water St. between N. Michigan and the “Illinois Center” Tunnel (Stetson Dr.) It is the first garage on the north side of E. South Water St., just after the South Water St. and N. Michigan Ave intersection. You will see a “Public Parking” sign above the entrance. The garage is open 24 hours every day of the week.
Getting around Chicago
- Bikeshare
- If you want to explore Chicago by bike, stop by the conveniently located Divvy station at Stetson Avenue and South Water Street and enjoy 24-hours of unlimited 30-minute rides for $15 per day.
- Chicago Water Taxi
- Located across the Chicago River from Hyatt Regency Chicago, Chicago Water Taxi offers riders access to Ogilvie Transportation Center, Union Station, Willis Tower, Chicago Riverwalk, Chinatown, and more via the city's waterways.
